Vientiane Boutique Hotel

We stayed here for three nights (one night each on three sperate occasion). Pros: 1) The good thing about location is that Patuxay and Wat Si Saket are within walking distance. Wat Ong Teu isn't too far either. There is a decent shopping mall close by. 2) The breakfast starts early and the spread is good with decent number of vegetarian choices. 3) The rooftop pool side restaurant was good. The food was decent (but not great). 4) The front desk is staffed 24 hours and the staff was very courteous and spoke good English. The check-in/check-out was fast and smooth. 5) The front desk staff helped us with booking transport. 6) The hotel has good, efficient and cheap laundry facility. 7) The WIFI was free with good connectivity and speed. 8) The rooms and bathrooms were big and clean with modern amenities. 9) The tariff is cheap. 10) The place is quiet at night and sleep quality was good. Cons: 1) The bad thing about location is that there are not too many good restaurants nearby and we had to all our meals at the hotel. 2) The lobby area and the restaurant downstairs is a bit dark and dingy. 3) The on-site restaurant closed by 7:30 pm and there is not much option for food after that.

Just stayed 2 nights in the Azalea. It's in a great location minutes away from That Dam Stupa and Patuxay Monument & Park. The jacuzzi bath was awesome, along with the rooftop swimming pool with 360 views over Vientiane. The hotel needs a little bit of TLC, but to be expected after COVID. It was however spacious, clean and comfortable. Downside personally for me was the breakfast which was traditional. I settled for toast on both mornings, not being a lover of noodles for breakfast (lunch and dinner no problem). My husband did try them and said they were nice. The other frustration was the WIFI which was completely non existent on day 2 of our stay. All in all I would stay again if ever in Vientiane.

Excellent boutique hotel near to bus terminal , foreign money changer, city, restaurants. Great service provided by their hotel counter staff , Phuoy & Tar . Excellent buffet breakfast provided in the room rate. Junior suite was perfect with balcony & bathtub

The premises are in such poor condition; overpriced for its condition. The carpets are disgusting - old, dirty, and unpleasant smell. The paint falling off the walls and ceilings. Unattentive staff. They damaged our clothes during laundry service. Typically one has at least one positive comment to make, but in this case there isn't anything positive to highlight about this hotel. Management does not manage customer complaints in a reasonable manner. I strongly discourage anyone from staying here. Look for other options.
